Every product or manufacturing process has potential of failure. The main objectives of failure analysis is to identify the root cause of a products failure and prevent it from recurring in the future and a chance to have deeper understanding on the product properties, limitations, and possible unexpected outcomes to prevent massive losses in the future.
Failure Analysis is a process to collecting data, analyzing data, identify the failure mechanism, revealing the root cause based on the solid evidences/ proof/ data, and provides recommended preventive action.
Metal failure analysis is a complex process that relies on variety of possible failure including, chemical contamination, structural integrity failure, corrosion, heat treatment, product process, coating failure and etc. We provide metal testing for clients in a wide variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, machining, bolts & nuts, manufacturing, defense, marine, oil & gas, consumer products etc.
